This spoon rest is made of a solid piece of stainless steel, brushed with a stream of raised dots that runs the length of the wavy arm up to the black dot - a round silicone spot for placing your sauce-covered spoon. The silicone is heat-resistant up to 600 degrees. The spoon rest is dishwasher-safe.
